Introductions
Hi, I am Lisa; a vegetarian since 1990 and a vegan since 2007. I have been married to Jim since 1992. When we got married we agreed to 'respect' each other's choices, though in my case it has been more a case of tolerating than respecting. Because of our work and the way our lives are structured, Jim is the main cook in our home and to his credit has never once complained about having to make two versions of almost every meal. He has shown real dedication to ensuring that my meals are completely vegan and that our daughter's are vegetarian. I continue to try and convince him to become at least vegetarian, but he prefers to ignore the facts and carry on as he has always done. This has created problems in an otherwise wonderful marriage, but I am not giving in or giving up.

He sounds like a wonderful husband for making meals to suit yours and your daughters needs but if he wants to eat meat then don't pressure him. I feel horrible for the animals with my partner, but I also always feel really horrible for trying to pressure them out of meat.
Maybe suddle hints every now and then. Haha. :P
