So there I was catching up on my Google reading when the excitement of  The Vegan Cookbook Aficionado caught my eye. Someone had sent her food, ‘that’s nice I thought’, then I read on and I got excited.  This is pratically a movement sweeping bloggersphere  it’s called a VEGAN FOOD SWAP. Hello everyone,

 

My name is Derek, and I am hoping to open an all vegetarian/vegan cafe and bakery in Ohio. I feel like there isn't enough places that vegetarians and vegans (especially super picky eaters like myself) can go to that offers a menu that I can choose a meal from that isn't a salad or a soup. So my partner and I have created a plan to create and provide a place that is 100% vegetarian and vegan friendly that offers meals ranging from breakfast to dinner and a small bakery that not only is all vegetarian and vegan but does not push anyone away from trying our products because let's face it, we can go into any applebees or olive garden and get a soup or a salad, but after that, that's it, ANYONE can come into my cafe and get a veggie burger or a vegan chocolate cupcake and leave satisfied! I am reaching out to my fellow "Veg Heads" for support and action to make this happen. We also plan to have specialty cupcakes that when purchased a portion of that sale goes to a charity that the cupcake is representing. We plan to give back in as many ways as possible.

So we are now on Day 3 of our little journey into Veganism, though Anthony isn't to happy with the idea of becoming vegan and leaving behind everything that he has known for 21 years, he is very open minded which I love and respect about him. Though I put him through hell, I change my mind mostly everyday and I make him do mostly everything he sticks by me and loves me. We haven't tried any of the yummy recipes out there for vegetarian's and vegans yet, we are waiting until we have our wages come through on Thursday. Though we have cut out meat and meat based products, though Anthony has broken his vow once already he is trying to be something that he isn't all for me, he loves me <3

 

I can not wait for Thursday when we can buy all our yummy ingredients for delicious meals, we are hopefully ordering some vegan cook books and animal free shopper from the vegan society.
I have joined so many nice and friendly vegan/vegetarian groups and hope that they help me and Anthony on our lovely journey into veganism.

It doesn't look like we will be able to get any more Ethletic sneakers for the future, so we are running our current stocks down.
We are already out of some sizes/styles so if you wanted to order any more of these, now would seem to be a good time to order.
