Florida School Serves All-Vegetarian Meals:
A recent study by the School of Nutrition Association, found that 2/3 school cafeterias offered a vegetarian option. This is a 40% increase since 2003. Now, a school in Florida serves an all vegetarian menu. It has been identified that
|much of the nutritional deficiencies facing the youth of today is due to poor eating habits inherited by parents. Implementing changes at the grass root level ensures that children will lead a healthier life. |
In a recent study, it has also revealed that not only children who lead a vegetarian lifestyle are much healthier, they are also much smarter.
In a recent study by Southampton University found that those who lead a more compassionate, life save diet on average record a 5 point higher IQ than those that eat a meat based diet.
Lead researcher Catharine Gale said: "The finding that children with greater intelligence are more likely to report being vegetarian as adults, together with the evidence on the potential benefits of a vegetarian diet on heart health, may help to explain why higher IQ in childhood or adolescence is linked with a reduced risk of coronary heart disease in adult life."
Our most sincere appreciation All schools choosing the vegetarian menu, and also to the Southampton University for your research. May Heaven guide all the younglins of our Home to grow into healthy, strong, smart, beautiful humans to issue in a new era for our Home. Be Love - Be Peace - BE VEGAN.
